Hope Lutheran School is a place where students hear about Jesus every day.  We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior of all and that we are saved only by God’s grace, not through our own works.  God has created us to know Him, to praise Him, and to be faithful stewards of the world he has made.  As Christians, it is our privilege and joy to share the story of salvation.  By the power of the Holy Spirit, students are transformed and empowered in the dynamic interactions within a community of grace.

Hope Lutheran School provides a warm and supportive learning environment for children during their most formative school years, from Kindergarten to 8th grade.

Our small classes and low student-faculty ratio allow our gifted and dedicated teachers to form close, trusting relationships with students and parents.  Hope Lutheran School provides students with a safe, diverse, innovative, academically inspiring environment that encourages a lifetime love of learning.

Hope Lutheran School was not only a good school but also home to me. The teachers were always supportive and pushed me to achieve greatness. They teach students skills that they will use their whole lives such as how to write a powerful paper, how to care for others, and how to study. This school always spreads God’s love through everything they do. They prioritize every student so that you do not feel like a number. They take the time to not only know the student’s name but also the student’s family and story. Mrs. Jankowski, the principal, is supportive and strict so that every student will achieve their fullest potential. Hope Lutheran School will be there every step of the way for your child even after middle school. They are full of opportunities for alumni such as working in the after school care program and helping in the classrooms. There will always be a place for your child at Hope Lutheran School. They will train your child in important life skills and God’s love so that your child always has a family in the school throughout their whole life.

Robin Berger

I am a Hope Lutheran Church member and a parent of two children that have graduated from Hope Lutheran School.  Hope is a phenomenal school and very caring towards their students.  Lutheran education is a caring place for children to learn and grow.  They are treated differently than in public school and can be taught with Jesus as the center of the learning, discipline and love shown to each student.

My oldest graduated from Hope after having moved here in the middle of his third grade year.  He recently became a Lutheran pastor after graduating from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis.  His foundation at Hope was very important to him in High school and college.

My youngest graduated from Hope and started in pre-school.  She commented after entering High school how shocked she was at what the public school children had been exposed to that she wasn’t at Hope.  She was happy she was sheltered from that while at Hope.  Is sheltering your children a good thing?  I believe it is.  While they are in their formative years, they are exposed to less of the world and more of Jesus.  When they enter High school, they have a base to move forward with.

Besides the great benefit of being able to keep Christ foremost in the learning process, the actual educational benefit is better than received in public school.  The basics learned at Hope prepared both children very adequately to proceed in High school and College.

I never regret the extra money spent to send my children to Hope and would not change having sent them.  I firmly believe a Christian education is one of the most important things you can offer your children.  After all, once they leave this earth, the most important thing they have is eternal life.
