Hope Lutheran School provides a Christian education from Preschool through 8th Grade. Hope emphasizes the spiritual growth of each child, as well as strong academics.  Our students have an opportunity to hear the love of Jesus Christ shared with them each day.  We encourage church and Sunday school attendance, personal and family Bible study, and daily devotions for all of our families.

Enrollment

2015 – 2016 applications for admission to Hope Lutheran School & Preschool are now being accepted.  A non-refundable registration fee is due when submitting your application.

  • copies of recent Standardized Test Scores (if transferring from another school)

Completed applications along with payments can be dropped off in the school office.

Auction

The PAHS auction will be held on November, 7th, 2015. The auction is an important fund-raiser for Hope Lutheran School, the funds raised at the auction go to support the Art, Band, Spanish, and Technology programs at Hope. There are several ways you can help: donate an item, volunteer to serve, or come and bid on items.

From Our Principal

Greetings! I am glad that you are considering Hope Lutheran School for your child. Hope emphasizes the spiritual growth of each child, as well as strong academics. Our students have an opportunity to hear the love of Jesus Christ shared with them each day. We encourage church and Sunday school attendance, personal and family Bible study, and daily devotions for all of our families.

Hope Lutheran School regularly receives the state’s Standard of Excellence Award, as we are accredited by the state of Kansas and also our National Lutheran Schools Association. All teachers have Lutheran Teachers Diplomas and state teaching certificates. Our students excel in their secondary education, whether public, private, or religious high schools.

Deciding on your child’s education is very important. Hope Lutheran School is committed to giving your child a quality Christian education that will reap great benefits as your child matures.

Bates City BBQ Fundraiser on Friday and Saturday

Enjoy Bates City BBQ (just across the street from Hope at 6493 Quivira) tonight, Friday, August 28th and Saturday, August 29th from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. Owner Tom Roberts will donate 10% of all proceeds from these 2 days to support our 8th grade class as they raise money for their class trip in the Spring. You can dine in or carry out. Thanks for your support!

Skating Party Tonight

PTL is hosting the first skating party of the school year tonight from 5:00-7:00 pm. Come to Skate City Shawnee located on Shawnee Mission Parkway just west of I-35 and enjoy a fun activity for the whole family. The cost is $4.50 per student/skater plus $1.00 for skate rental, if needed. Parents and children under Kindergarten age are free if they are not skating. All adult skaters and all attending students (even if not skating) must pay.

Snack Update

We are not selling snacks before, during, or after school this year so please make sure your children have a snack from home, especially if they are attending after school care.  Drinks are still available to purchase. .
